PURPOSE: The Minnesota Department of Administration requests bids to furnish and install one (1) 40 HP, Variable Speed Rotary Screw Air-Cooled Air Compressor and related components per Exhibit C of the Sample Contract. The location of work is the MINNCOR Industries laundry facility located at 1101 Linden Lane, Faribault MN 55021-6400.
MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING: A mandatory pre-bid meeting will take place at 9:00 AM., CT, Thursday, January 18, 2024, at the laundry building, located at 1101 Linden Lane, Faribault MN 55021-6400. Responders must register to attend by contacting Ryan ONeil, Project Manager, via email at contact@example.gov no later than 3:00 PM., CT, Friday, January 12, 2024. Responses received from companies that did not attend a pre-bid site visit will be rejected. The State reserves the right to schedule additional site visits via an addendum. Attendance is mandatory.
REGISTRATION AND BACKGROUND CHECKS: Responders that do not register for the pre-bid meeting will not be admitted into the facility. Background checks are required prior to attending the pre-bid meeting and accessing the work site. Any individual requesting to come onto facility grounds are required to complete a Department of Corrections (DOC) Access Packet along with a photocopy of their driver’s license and emailing these documents to the State’s Authorized Project Manager, Ryan ONeil, by 3:00 PM., CT, Friday, January 12, 2024.
QUESTIONS/CLARIFICATIONS: Any questions and/or clarifications in regard to the solicitation response must be made in writing by email to John Roth at (contact@example.gov) by January 25, 2024, no later than 2:00 PM CT. If a Responder discovers any significant ambiguity, error, conflict, discrepancy, omission, or other deficiency in the RFP, they must immediately notify the Buyer in writing of such error and request modification or clarification of the document. Responders are not to contact anyone within any other State Agency regarding this solicitation. The State is not obligated to answer questions submitted after the questions/clarifications due date and time.
PRE-APPROVED EQUIVALENT REQUEST DEADLINE AND PROCESS: Requests must be in writing by email to John H. Roth at (contact@example.gov) no later than four (4) days prior to the solicitation due date and time. Requests for approval of a proposed equivalent must include: product description, the make and model, and a product data or specification sheet from the manufacturer. The State reserves the right to request additional information about a product proposed as and equivalent.
