Full Description

This request for information (RFI) builds upon the previous sources sought, AFSPC-A7KI-0002, titled Air Force Space Command High Efficiency Street and Parking Lot Fixture Program. The purpose of this RFI is to have industry address potential risks, how to mitigate those risks, suggest a contract type, line item structure, and commercial terms and conditions. There is no solicitation at this time. A pre-solicitation notice will be synopsized prior to issuing any resulting solicitation. Air Force Space Command (AFSPC), in order to meet the energy reduction requirements of the Energy Policy Act of 2005, the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007, and Executive Order 13423, is contemplating an energy saving street and parking lot light fixture replacement program focusing on new and innovative technologies (Light Emitting Diodes, Induction, ...). The focus of this program is on AFSPC installations nationwide and potential expansion of the program to all USAF installations. Please email your comments to the primary and alternate POC listed in this RFI. Please call if there are specific questions regarding the information requested in this RFI. The applicable NAICS codes are 238210 and 335129. Small Business size standards are $13 million for 238210 with a PSC of N059 and 500 employees for 335129 with an FSC of 6210.
