Anne Arundel Community College is soliciting proposals for solicitation C2027-13-P to replace aging rooftop HVAC equipment at two Maryland locations. The scope of work includes the replacement of RTU-4 and RTU-1 at the Arundel Mills Campus and the replacement of MAU-1 at the Center for Applied Learning and Technology. The project requires the contractor to provide all labor, materials, and rigging, with specific requirements for integration into the Niagara Tridium Building Automation System and the existing Fire Alarm System. Additionally, the work involves VAV terminal repairs, modifications, and both pre-demolition and post-construction testing, adjusting, and balancing. Replacement units must be sourced from approved manufacturers, specifically Carrier, Innovent, Trane, or York. The contract will be awarded based on best value rather than price alone, evaluating qualifications, experience, proposed approach, and pricing. Proposals must be submitted as two separate PDF files via email to the procurement officer by November 11, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. ET. Key requirements for bidders include providing a bid bond, proof of active SAM.gov registration, and registration through Unimarket. The project is subject to prevailing wage rates, and contractors must adhere to strict safety and non-discrimination standards. Performance and payment bonds are required for contracts exceeding 100,000 dollars. The college also encourages participation from Minority Business Enterprises and requires a formal proposal structure divided into a technical volume and a price proposal volume.
