The Government is conducting market research to identify potential sources that possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet qualification requirements for the sustainment of the F-15 Aircraft Structural Integrity Program (ASIP) in accordance with MIL-STD-1530, AFPD 63-1/20-1 (formerly AFPD 63-10) and AFI 63-140 (formerly AFI 63-1001 and AFR 80-13). The specific tasks involved in sustaining the ASIP include updating ASIP Master Plans, Fatigue Damage Tracking (FDT), fatigue and static strength analysis, Damage Tolerance Assessment (DTA), Continuing Damage Analysis, and Force Structural Maintenance Plan (FSMP) updates. These tasks and programs are essential to maintaining the structural health of the aging F-15 fleet and assuring operational safety. The projected period of performance for this engineering service is five-years (basic plus four option years) and will continue through FY21. (please see attachments for additional details.)
