THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP). This notice is a Request for Information (RFI) in order to gather data from industry on providing qualified personnel to facilitate writing mentorship of Air University (AU) students. All feedback and information received may be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for a possible future acquisition. This notice is issued solely for market research and planning purposes and does not constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid, nor does its issuance in any way restrict the Government as to its ultimate acquisition approach. No award will be made from this RFI and the Government will not pay for any effort expended in responding to this notice. Below is a draft Statement of Work to staff an Air University Writing Center: 1.0 DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES Air University's (AU) Program Management Office (PMO) requires the contractor provide qualified personnel (referred to as writing mentors) to facilitate writing mentorship of AU students enrolled in Officer Professional Military Education to include Air War College (AWC), Air Command and Staff College (ACSC), and Squadron Officer College (SOC). 2.0 QUALIFICATIONS Terminal degree, from a US Accredited program (PhD or EdD) desired; Master's degree mandatory.
