Full Description

NOTICE OF CONTRACT ACTION The Air Force Test Center (AFTC), Contracting Directorate, located at 205 West D Avenue, Suite 414, Eglin Air Force Base, FL, 32542, intends to enter into a new sole source Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract with CALCULEX, INC., located at 132 W Las Cruces Ave., Las Cruces, NM 88001-1231. No foreign participation is permitted. This contract is for spare parts/equipment, repairs, upgrades, technical support, and data deliveries in support of the 96th Test Wing's requirement for Airborne Data Recorders (ADRs) and associated services. The effort will provide the ADR program office with the equipment and services to facilitate continued sustainment and improvement of ADR capabilities for use by operational urgent need customers and the test community. Subject contract is anticipated to be awarded during 4th Quarter FY18, and have a 5-year ordering period with a 5-year option period through 4th Quarter FY23 (approximately 120 months). No further deliveries shall be permitted 24 months after the end of the ordering period. Contract cap is set at $46,623,715.00. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 (Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, and a Request for Proposal (RFP) will not be issued. The National American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this action is 334511, with a size standard of 750 employees. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice.
