Full Description

The ASC/WIN, ISR Sensors and FMS Division is conducting market research, both foreign and domestic, to identify new approaches to airborne sensor lossless and lossy (data lost from compression) data compression and businesses capable of providing the necessary hardware and services. This market research will benefit a potential Air Force effort in the FY12-15 timeframe. Therefore, ASC/WIN must determine the feasibility of applying compression to meet both data quantity and quality requirements. ASC/WIN seeks industry white papers to support this market research effort by 31 Aug 11.
