The airway features an oblique tip and a curved shaft with a flange at the proximal end. The units have a shelf life of 60 months, but no more than 9 months can have elapsed from manufacturing to delivery. Technical and quality requirements referenced by "R" or "I" numbers are governed by the DLA master list effective as of the solicitation or award date, and suppliers must comply with DLA packaging requirements and protocols for handling non-accepted supplies.
