The Naval Research Laboratory intends to award to Aixtron Inc., on other than full and open competitive basis a contract for 1 each Cassette, Upper Part, SiC coated P/N: 5002090, 1 each Cassette, Lower part, TaC coated P/N: 5002091, 3 each Graphite screw M8 P/N:5002096, 1 each Connection, TaC coated P/N: 5000993, 2 each Susceptor insulation P/N: 5001917, 2 each Insulation, up-stream P/N: 5001918, 1 each Liner, Support Quartz P/N: 5001578, and 1 each Liner, Quartz P/N: 5001165. (Microsoft IE required). Additional specifications will appear in the RFQ. Sole source is based on parts for existing equipment from Aixtron Inc. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
