Allegany County – Sewer System Improvements

The Allegany County Department of Public Works is soliciting sealed bids for Sewer System Improvements (HUNT 1435-067) located in Friendship, New York. The project is divided into four separate prime contracts and encompasses two primary scopes of work: the installation of a new wastewater collection system featuring gravity sewer mains, manholes, and a pump station with force mains using open trench and directional drilling; and the construction of a new wastewater treatment attached growth package plant. The plant will include a new building equipped with screening, primary treatment tanks, a moving bed bioreactor system, aeration, secondary clarifier, sludge pump, sand filtration, UV disinfection, and lab equipment. Bids must be submitted by Thursday, November 12, 2026, at 2:00pm local time to the Allegany County Office Building in Belmont, New York. Each submission must include a certified check or bid bond payable to the Allegheny County Department of Public Works and a Certificate of Registration to comply with Section 220-I of NYS Labor Law.
