Aluminum Fish distribution tank

The Ohio Department of Natural Resources, through the Division of Wildlife at the Castalia State Fish Hatchery, is soliciting quotes for the procurement of one new custom aluminum fish distribution tank. The required hardware consists of a 96-inch long, 66-inch wide, and 40-inch tall tank featuring two equal compartments of approximately 385 gallons each. Technical specifications include 2-inch insulated closed-cell walls, floor, and ceiling, constructed with 3003-H14 smooth aluminum sheets and 6061-T6 aluminum extrusions. The tank must be equipped with four 12-volt Fresh-Flo TT aerators, an electrical switch box, an oxygen system with flowmeters and ceramic diffusers, and two 6-inch camlock discharges. A rough design mockup must be submitted to the ODNR for verification prior to the commencement of construction, and the final product must include a 5-year workmanship warranty. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder based on the low lot total. The State will apply specific preferences for Buy American, Buy Ohio, and Veteran-Friendly Businesses in accordance with Ohio Administrative Code. Delivery is required no later than January 15, 2027, under FOB Destination terms. For contractors located within 100 driving miles of the Castalia facility, the ODNR will handle pickup; otherwise, the contractor is responsible for delivery. All submissions must be made electronically through the Ohio Buys portal. Standard state terms apply, including requirements for independent contractor status, compliance with equal employment opportunity laws, and adherence to offshore service restrictions. Payment is due within 30 calendar days of the receipt of a proper invoice, with electronic funds transfer being the preferred method.
