Amendment to RFQ: please take note of the addition information in this amendment. Vendor questions answered regarding specifics; due to additional information the closing time has been moved to: November 20, 2018. Information follows: 1. Is the foundation a slab or a footer? If it's a footer, is it solid concrete or concrete & cinderblock? Answer: Footer - solid concrete to the best of our knowledge. 2. Are there any work hour restrictions due the building's proximity to the hospital or other houses? Answer: Extended hours can be discussed during the pre-construction meeting and most likely approved. 3. What is the depth of the foundation? Answer: The modular unit does not have a basement so a standard depth is expected. 4. Are there any contingencies for weather? As in, the winter in Browning MT can be brutal, can work be delayed because of weather? What, if any, are the repercussions in that event? Answer: During the pre-construction meeting, weather conditions can be discussed and if the ground is frozen where it affects foundation removal, all parties will discuss a winter shutdown at that time. Risk as it pertains to schedule is minimal since it is not critical to project completion. 5. What is the actual location of the building/trailer that needs to be demolished? Answer: Directly off of N. Piegan Rd, catty corner to Nurse Cook Rd. (see attachment) The Billings Area Indian Health Service (IHS) is requesting quotations in accordance with the requirements of Request for Quotations (RFQ)10-19-003-JTD to demolish and remove an old housing/quarters building located on the Blackfeet Indian Reservation, Browning, Montana.
