The Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane has issued a sole source solicitation, N00164-26-Q-0163, for the procurement of specific Ametek modules and cables, including two chassis, multiple modules, and cables. The requirement supports existing systems already integrated into the customer’s program, which justifies limiting competition to Ametek Programmable Power Inc. and its authorized distributors under FAR 13.106-1. Interested parties may submit capability statements for consideration, but the government retains discretion over whether to pursue a competitive procurement. All contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to participate. The solicitation was posted on May 21, 2026, with a closing date of May 28, 2026, at 12:00 PM Eastern Time. All communications, including submissions, are to be sent via email to the designated point of contact, Cassidy Shaw, at the NSWC Crane office in Indiana. Amendments or changes to the solicitation prior to the closing date will be posted on the federal Contract Opportunities website (sam.gov), and vendors are responsible for monitoring this site for updates. This procurement falls under NAICS code 335999, and no set-aside applies for this contract.
