Full Description

The Government has a requirement for a Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) contract to support sustainment of the AN/AAQ-28, Laser Infrared Targeting and Navigating (LITENING) Targeting Pod System (LTPS). The resultant contract will be a five (5) year IDIQ contract. Tasks included in this effort are as follows: CLS support, over flight, software modifications, depot standup, demonstrations, repair data, service life extension program (SLEP), technical manuals and technical orders, special studies and analysis, and site activation. The Government intends to award this contract on a Sole Source basis to Northrop Grumman Corporation (NGC). In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct competitive procurement. Foreign participation is not permitted at the prime contractor level. Solicitation is expected to be released on or around 15 June 2011, with a response due 90 days after issuance of a solicitation. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by the agency. The RFP will NOT be posted at www.fedbizopps.gov.
