Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to issue a Delivery Order under the N00019-11-G-0003 BOA to Bell Helicopter Textron, Inc. (BHTI) for Phase I of the Aircraft Survivability Equipment (ASE) suite. Phase I includes AN/APR-39D(V)2 Radar Signal Detection Set for the United States Marine Corps (USMC). BHTI is the only known company with the knowledge, data, and capability to meet the Government's requirement. This effort will be procured in accordance with the statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition under 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2), in that BHTI is the only known company with the knowledge, data, and capability to meet the Government's needs. This notice is for informational purposes only.
