They aim to determine the cellular composition of human veins using the scRNA technique. The Hussman Institute for Human Genomics will perform single nucleus RNA sequencing to identify which cells produce LOX in human vein and AVF. To compare the new data with the existing data in the lab, all samples need to be processed in the same facility to avoid technical variability that may invalidate the study.
