Analytical Laboratory Support Services for GLNPO Great Lakes Water Quality Monitoring Program

The Environmental Protection Agency Region 5 is seeking analytical laboratory support services to assist the GLNPO Great Lakes Water Quality Monitoring Program. The selected contractor will be responsible for analyzing environmental water samples from the Great Lakes to measure total suspended sediments as well as nutrients and metals at trace-level concentrations. All laboratory work must be performed in strict accordance with EPA Standard Operating Procedures. This effort is essential for fulfilling the statutory obligations under 33 U.S. Code 1268, which mandates the establishment of a system-wide surveillance network to monitor water quality across the Great Lakes. The project falls under NAICS code 541380 and is currently listed as a forecast. Coordination for this requirement is managed by Program Contact Eric Osantowski.
