DLA Maritime-Mechanicsburg intends to award a sole source, Firm Fixed Price IDIQ contract to Boonton Electronics Corp for the acquisition of Analyzer Frequency units, part number 1121A-11-12. These analyzers are specifically required to support General Purpose Electronic Test Equipment, and it has been determined that Boonton Electronics Corp is the only responsible source capable of satisfying the agency requirements. This determination is based on the fact that the government does not own the necessary data rights and it would be uneconomical to reverse engineer the parts. The contract structure consists of a three year base ordering period with two additional one year options. The estimated requirement is 20 units per year. This procurement is being conducted under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, ensuring the acquisition of approved equipment necessary for critical electronic test operations.

Request for Information: Additive Manufacturing
Solicitation # N0010427RZ058
The Naval Supply Systems Command Weapon Systems Support is conducting market research through Request for Information N0010427RZ058 to identify qualified sources capable of designing, producing, and delivering piece part components or entire assemblies using additive manufacturing methods. The government is specifically interested in vendors who can meet rigorous manufacturing, material, performance, testing, and quality assurance requirements. While the current focus is on a candidate list of National Item Identification Numbers for valves, actuators, and manifolds, the government anticipates that Level I and SUBSAFE items may become eligible for additive manufacturing in the future. Interested businesses must provide detailed administrative data, descriptions of their manufacturing capabilities, facility certifications such as ISO 9001 or AS9100, and evidence of past performance with similar military or commercial hardware. Additionally, the government is soliciting industry feedback on the development of objective evaluation criteria and the structuring of performance-based incentives for future Firm-Fixed-Price contracts. All produced components must be fully interchangeable with traditionally manufactured equivalents and strictly adhere to the baselines established in Project Peculiar Document 802-8436658. Responses are due by October 22, 2026.
