The Peach County Board of Commissioners will be accepting Sealed Bids for the Andel Road Improvements in Peach County, GA. Closing date for Sealed Bids responding to Request for Bid (RFB) No. 24-006 shall be August 6, 2024 at 2:30 p.m. Bids will be opened in public without discussion on August 6, 2024 at 2:30 p.m. at the Peach County Board of Commissioner¿s Office, 213 Persons Street, Fort Valley, GA 31030. Bid amounts will not be released until the Board of Commissioners has awarded the project to the winning contractor. Work includes the import, placement, and compaction of +7,000 C.Y. (in place) structural fill for the road, realigning, and paving ±4,300 L.F. of Andel Road. Additionally, drainage improvements, utility relocations, erosion / sediment control, and final stabilization are part of the work at each site.
A Pre-bid meeting will be held July 23 at 9:00 a.m. at the Andel Road project site. Attendance at the pre-bid meeting is required. The complete RFB package will be available by contacting Morgan Hoffmann at +1 (555) 000-0000, contact@example.gov All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the Base Bid. Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount, will be required of the successful bidder. Bond must be written by an acceptable Surety Company licensed to do business in the State of Georgia and listed with the Department of the Treasury.
