Hillsborough County intends to recommend the award of a five (5) year noncompetitive procurement to Andritz Separation Inc. in the amount of $1,062,423.35, for preventative maintenance, parts, and repair services for three (3) existing County owned D6LXC30CHP Centrifuges, and associated Aqua Screens and Roto Presses. This procurement is being made in accordance with Section 3-208(15) of the County’s Procurement Policy as maintenance, services, parts, and warranties for existing equipment and systems, provided by the original equipment manufacturer or authorized agent, and can only reasonably be provided by Andritz Separation Inc. The County reserves the right to extend the time period further, adjust the scope of services in response to changing conditions and updated requirements, and increase the resulting award accordingly. Contractors who believe that they can provide goods and/or services that are substantially and materially the same as those identified in the attached Service and Maintenance Agreement and sole source letter, must submit clear and convincing information to support a challenge the intended award.
