AMMENDMENT TO ANNOUNCEMENT OF INDUSTRY DAY: Announcement of Industry Day 13 - 14 August, 2014: Arnold Engineering Development Complex Base Communications and Information Technology Services (BCITS) Requirement. The Air Force Arnold Engineering Development Complex (AEDC) is in the process of recompeting the follow-on to its Operation, Maintenance, Information Management, and Support operating contract. This follow-on effort is called Test Operations and Support. The approved acquisition strategy for the Test Operations and Support procurement segregated the previous single contract into six different efforts. One of these acquisition efforts will address AEDC's requirements for Base Communications and Information Technology Services (BCITS). AEDC intends to fulfill its need for BCITS requirements through use of the GSA Alliant Small Business Governmentwide Acquisition Contract. Our anticipated award date for the BCITS task order is 1 June 2015. To facilitate your understanding of our BCITS requirements and to ensure all prospective vendors are provided the opportunity to learn more of the AEDC BCITS mission, we are extending an invitation to an Industry Day. The Industry Day is scheduled for 13-14 August 2014 at the Gossick Leadership Center, Arnold Air Force Base, Tennessee. The Industry Day will also include an opportunity to tour relevant installation facilities. In addition to this industry day announcement, we have attached an Industry Day Agenda, Tour Guidance and Air Force mandatory use policy memo.
