In accordance with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Acquisition Management System (AMS) Policy 3.2.2.4 - Single-Source Selection, the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the FAA's decision to contract on a single source basis to Prometheus Intelligence, Inc. for the procurement of licensing and support of Prometheus Torch software.


Prometheus Intelligence is the only known source capable of providing a commercially available platform that meets the FAA’s requirements. Prometheus Torch™ uniquely provides a proprietary offline-first architecture that performs speech-to-text, translation, and analytical processing entirely on local hardware without cloud-connected APIs, which is necessary to satisfy FAA data isolation and zero-trust requirements.


This announcement is for informational purposes only. The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. The FAA is not liable for any costs associated with the preparing of a response to this announcement.
