The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) has a requirement for annual web-based aviation specific training. Training is to ensure that approximately 165 RCMP Air Services personnel inclusive of Pilots, Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AME), Tactical Flight Officers and Flight Coordinators meet Transport Canada and RCMP requirements to maintain a safe competency level. RCMP Air Services is authorized to operate aircraft as a Private Operator provided its Fixed and Rotary Pilots, AMEs and Crew Members complete mandatory training topics, many of which can be administered through a web-based solution, that meet or exceed Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs).
