BACKGROUND/REQUIREMENTS: This is a service contract to provide one basic inspection and maintenance (checks are the ones recommended by manufacturer's Manual) and, about 6 months later, a deep inspection and maintenance (checks shall not be limited only to the ones recommended by manufacturer's Manual, but also include internal inspection of the impeller by disassembling the pump) of domestic water pumps located at Caserma Del Din,Vicenza, Italy. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES/INTRODUCTION: The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform the maintenance and inspection of water pumps. The Contractor shall perform to the standards that will be set forth in the contract. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: Work will be executed on Caserma Del Din, Vicenza, Italy PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: The Government contemplates to establish a Firm Fixed Price contract for one (1) base year and four (4) option years. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 811310. SUBMITTAL INFORMATION: It is requested that interested vendors submit to the contracting office a brief capabilities statement package demonstrating ability to perform the services listed above. In order to deem the vendors' responsibility, such package shall include the following documentation: 1. Certificato Camera di Commercio (Certificate of the Chamber of Commerce) NOT older than six (6) months at the time set forth for the receipt of the source sought inquiry. Self-certifications are NOT allowed. The business purpose (oggetto sociale) should include but is not limited to: Maintenance and repair of electro-mechanical equipment ("Manutenzioni e riparazioni elettromeccaniche"). 2. SAM Registration. In order to register on SAM website ( https://www.sam.gov ), vendors must have a DUNS number ( obtainable on http://dbitaly.dnb.com ) and a NATO code (obtainable on https://www.siac.difesa.it/tiki/tiki-index.php?page=NCAGE).
