The proposed project consists of the rehabilitation of existing roadway improvements on various streets throughout the City of Vallejo. Project activities are limited to the repair, maintenance, and rehabilitation of existing transportation facilities within the existing public right-of-way and include, but are not limited to: Pavement rehabilitation using rubberized cape seal (consisting of a recycled rubber chip seal followed by a slurry seal treatment), cold planing of existing asphalt pavement, localized pavement repairs (dig-outs/base repairs), installation of a Stress Absorbing Membrane Interlayer (SAMI), asphalt concrete overlays of varying thicknesses, wedge grinding and conform grinding, and adjustment of utility covers as necessary; and Removal and replacement of damaged concrete curb and gutter, construction of Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)-compliant curb ramps, and replacement of pavement striping, markings, and raised pavement markers; and Implementation of temporary traffic control measures in accordance with the most current edition of the California Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (CA MUTCD); and All associated incidental and appurtenant work necessary to complete the project in accordance with City-approved plans, specifications, and contract documents.
