Base Performance Period 10/1/10-09/30/11 Option Period One 10/1/11-9/30/2012 Option Period Two 10/1/12-9/30/2013 Option Period Three 10/1/13-9/30/2014 The Multifunctional Secure Gateway (MSG) is the primary controller for all connected terminals or backsiders for the purpose of processing all levels of classified message traffic with special handling designators (SHD) to the AUTODIN switching center (ASC). Due to turnkey response requirements, the vendor must be able to respond on-site and invoice locally. All vendor questions must be submitted in writing not later than 4:00 PM September 28, 2010. Pursuant to FAR 6.302-1 (c) this RFQ is published on a "brand-name or equal" basis. THIS RFQ IS SUBJECT TO THE ENACTMENT OF THE FY2011 DEPARTMENT OF TREASURY APPROPRIATION BILL OR CONTINUING RESOLUTION AUTHORITY. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is issued as request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-43.
