This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under FAR Part 13 as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on FEDBIZOPPS the RFP number is 1605-CIO-17-NAT-0076. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-86. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full text at this address: https://www.acquisition.gov/sites/default/files/current/far/pdf/FAR.pdf. The NAICS code is 335999 and the Size Standard is 500 Employees. The Department Of Labor, Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) requires maintenance support for APC Uninterruptible Power Supply units as listed in Section C: Descriptions/Specifications in the attached RFP. The period of performance will be a 12-month base period, plus two 12-month option periods. This solicitation is issued as a small business set-aside. Vendors must be an authorized reseller of Schneider-Electric. The vendor shall quote ALL items, provide a proposal (ex. include the details of the services/requirements you are proposing) and provide an authorized reseller letter/certification to be eligible for award. A vendor's failure to submit all proper documentation requested in the RFP will NOT be considered for award. Proposals submitted containing only pricing will not be considered. Third Party vendors will NOT be accepted. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Purchase Order, and the evaluation will be based on the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable offer. Please see the RFP attachment. Vendors are advised that an active record in the System for Award Management (SAM) is required to receive an award. The vendor's Offeror Representations and Certifications (ORCA) must be completed in the SAM database at the time quotations are submitted. The vendor must have the NAICS code which this requirement is being solicited under in there SAM database at the time quotations are submitted.
