Full Description

The Office of Naval Research intends to issue a firm fixed price award on a sole source basis to ARC Science Simulations for a 48" (inch) OmniGlobe Spherical Display System and travel cases for display of Navy environmental forecast products under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b), Contracting Officer may solicit from one source if the Contracting Officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available". The anticipated value for this award is $99,500. This notice is not a request for proposals or quotes. It is a notice that outlines the Government's intent to award on a sole source basis to ARC Science. However, all responsible sources may submit a quote and technical capability, which if received within fifteen calendar days of publication of this notice shall be considered by ONR. Quote and technical capabilities must be submitted by email to Robert Fekete at robert.fekete.ctr@navy.mil no later than 1500 EST, 6 August 2015. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. Responses shall be limited to no more than THREE (3) pages. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
