The Government plans to increase the dollar threshold and extend the term of contract W912DR-04-D-0017 by six months. This contract is an Indefinite Delivery-Type agreement for Master Planning and Engineering Services, originally awarded to John Gallup & Associates, LLC on September 13, 2004, for one base period with a value of $1 million and two option periods each also valued at $1 million. Primarily serving the US Army Corps of Engineers Baltimore District, the contract's work has focused on infrastructure studies, GIS maintenance, and development of programming documents in support of key installations such as Fort Detrick, the National Interagency Biodefense Campus, and the US Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases. The current request comes in response to Fort Detrick’s needs for additional detailed 1391 project documents, infrastructure analysis, and utility rate studies, along with projects focused on stormwater and water treatment plant improvements. The AE firm, possessing unique familiarity and security clearance related to these facilities, will continue their efforts, which are expected to expand significantly by the end of fiscal year 2007, requiring an increase of contract value between $3 million and $3.5 million. The Baltimore District intends to modify the contract accordingly, extending its duration while raising the funding cap to accommodate these additional installation planning and engineering tasks. Interested parties were invited to submit inquiries by July 9, 2007, though this notice does not constitute a request for proposal.
