Project: Venture Academy (hereafter “School”) is requesting proposals from qualified firms for design services for an approximately 12500 square foot Pre-Fab Steel Gym adjacent to the existing High School building as well as a remodel that takes aprox. 35’x55’ of the existing gym to create 2 classrooms one on top of the other (the current gym is cmu construction).
The following contains information to enable interested firms to produce a statement of qualifications to do the work. Questions about the project should be directed to:

*No other members of the school staff or community should be contacted concerning this RFQ during the selection process. Failure to comply with this requirement may result in disqualification.
Due Date: Proposals are due no later than 12:00 Noon, MST June 5, 2026.
Selection: Upon review of submissions by the School, the firm best meeting the needs of the School will be selected for the services. The School may interview finalist candidates at its discretion. The School reserves the right to accept or reject any or all firms if it is deemed to be in the best interest of the School to do so.
Project Description Location: Construction will take place on the existing property at 508 N 1500 W Marriott-Slaterville, UT 84404. Gym: The Gym addition will be approximately 12,500 sq ft (100x125). It will consist of a full size regulation basketball court with 6-8 row, retractable bleachers on one side. An additional lower ceiling height space connected directly to the west of the new gym will include an entry way on the west side of the building with roughly 3 restrooms, one custodial closet, and 3 large storage rooms. (see light blue box in the image below) The 2 new classrooms will be constructed inside the existing gym using aprox. 35ft x 55ft on the south end of the gym. The remaining north side of the gym (60’ x 55’) will remain untouched and will serve as a small gym for auxiliary purposes. The 2nd classroom will be built on top of the 1st with access from existing 2nd floor walkways and a new egress staircase on the west side.
