Through this Request for Proposal (RFP), the District is seeking to identify an Architectural / Engineering Design Team(s) (also referred to as "the A/E") that can most fully meet the needs of the District as specified in this document and any associated attachments. Based on enrollment, the District is the seventh largest school district in Virginia. With nearly 40,000 students and 6,000 employees in 47 schools and centers, the District is committed to providing excellence in education for the children of Chesapeake. The Chesapeake Public School System is an equal educational opportunity school system.
