The Defense Logistics Agency- Troop Support is seeking sources capable of providing the supply for a Blood Program. The Blood products requested for purchase are Packed Red Blood Cells (RBC), Packed Red Blood Cells (RBC) O NEG, Low titer group O Whole Blood (LTOWB), Fresh Frozen Plasma (FFP- Liquid Plasma, Plasma Frozen in 24 hours), 100% AB Plasma, Cryoprecipitate (CTRO- Pooled Cryoprecipitate), and Apheresis Platelets. These Blood products will provide the military, in time of emergency, a supplementary supply of blood products from civilian blood agencies. An emergency is being defined as a contingency, mobilization, period of war, declaration of emergency, humanitarian efforts, or any other military operation or deployment. DLA Troop Support has the following annual estimate requirements for the Blood Program: Blood Product Type Quantity Unit - 1. Packed Red Blood Cells (RBC) 130 Each - 2. Packed Red Blood Cells (RBC) O NEG 54 Each - 3. Low titer group O Whole Blood (LTOWB) 100 Each - 4. Fresh Frozen Plasma (FFP) 50 Each (Plasma frozen within 24 hours Liquid Plasma) - 5. 100% AB Plasma 50 Each 6.
