Army G-1 AECW VTC Requirement

This is a Sources Sought Notice (SSN) and Request for Information (RFI) issued by the U.S. Army’s Management Support Office under the Deputy Chief of Staff, G-1, for the Army Expeditionary Civilian Workforce Directorate, with the goal of gathering industry input to inform future procurement planning for video teleconferencing (VTC) equipment to be installed in Building 367 at Camp Atterbury, Indiana. The requirement is part of a broader effort to equip a newly constructed deployment classroom with fully integrated AV technology to support instructional purposes, presentations, and Microsoft Teams meetings by the end of Fiscal Year 2026. The scope includes supplying and installing a 20x optical zoom PTZ camera for the instructor podium, two 12x optical zoom PTZ cameras for rear viewing areas, ten recessed ceiling beamforming microphones, sixteen ceiling speakers arranged in four zones with mix-minus voice lift, a four-channel amplifier, an audio-video DSP mixer, a touch panel for camera control, BYOD integration, four wall-mounted 100-inch TV displays connected via Cat 6e wiring, and a wood grain walnut multimedia presentation podium. All equipment must be delivered, assembled, and fully operational within three months of any future award. Responses to this RFI are strictly for market research and do not constitute a solicitation or binding commitment to award a contract; the government assumes no financial responsibility for costs incurred by respondents. Interested parties must submit a Capability Statement of no more than five pages, including their DUNS number, CAGE code, business size classification, NAICS code 334310, and PSC code for the proposed solution. Respondents are also required to identify their socioeconomic status to assist the government in determining potential set-asides for small businesses, veteran-owned small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses, HUBZone small businesses, small-disadvantaged businesses, and women-owned small businesses. Although the requirement is not yet finalized and remains subject to modification, the government intends to evaluate the technical capabilities of industry providers to ensure compliance with minimum specifications that include full operational readiness, two-year warranties covering installation, parts, service, and technical support, and provision of all necessary software licenses.
