Arrow Route from Hickory Avenue to East Almeria Avenue - Road Rehabilitation (H15199)

San Bernardino County Department of Public Works proposes to rehabilitate approximately 2.9 miles of Arrow Route. Work consists of milling existing pavement to maximum depth of approximately 0.35 foot, placing new asphalt overlay, and replacing or refreshing signing and striping. Approximately 10,585 cubic yards of asphalt may be imported or exported. Construction may use a cold planer, concrete mixer, backhoe, paver, roller, and water truck and is expected to take approximately 60 days. Project will not add travel lanes or roadway capacity, affect a streambed or storm drain, relocate utilities, remove vegetation or trees, require night lighting, or require a traffic detour. As part of this Project, two (2) construction staging areas within the existing County Road right-of-way along south side of Arrow Route immediately west and east of !lex Street, were identified and evaluated. Project also includes seven (7) PEC areas affecting eight (8) privately-owned parcels along Arrow Route: APNs 023-009-104, 023-013-106, 023-013-130, 023-014-102, 023-014-103, 023-014-104, 023-014-142, and 023-016-121. PEC areas total approximately 6,050 square feet and consist of narrow strips immediately adjacent to existing curb and gutter. PECs will provide temporary construction access, expiring upon construction completion.
