The City of Plant City owns and operates an extensive wastewater collection system consisting of approximately 160 miles of gravity sewer mains, ranging in diameter from 8 inches to 36 inches, and 4‑inch and 6‑inch sewer laterals. Maintaining the integrity and performance of this aging infrastructure is essential to ensuring reliable wastewater conveyance, minimizing inflow and infiltration (I&I), and meeting evolving regulatory requirements. To support compliance with Rule 62-600.705(2), F.A.C. and to advance the City's long‑term asset management goals, the City of Plant City intends to establish an annual contract for cured‑in‑place pipe (CIPP) lining services. The selected contractor(s) will provide trenchless rehabilitation of existing gravity sewer mains throughout the collection system. Work under this contract will include, but not be limited to, CIPP lining, point repairs, reinstatement of service laterals, and related preparatory and restoration activities.
