The Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order to a single source, American Society of Military Comptrollers (ASMC) to participate in the 2023 Professional Development Institute (PDI). The ASMC is hosting the PDI May 31 - June 2, 2023 in St. Louis, Missouri as an integrated in-person and virtual event. ASMC offers unique courses and certifications that are specifically designed for the Department of Defense (DoD) financial management certification. The PDI conference hosted by ASMC provides resource/financial management knowledge and skills, as well as share best practices toward meeting the complex challenges of today's fiscal environment. The PDI focuses on education and training, and provides attendees the chance to earn up to 21 Continuing Professional Education (CPE) units as required. The ASMC PDI sessions meet the National Association of State Boards of Accounting standards, discuss current issues in DoD financial management operations, and provide participants the opportunity to obtain direct credit toward meeting certain DoD FM Certification requirements.
