Ashe Plantation Lift Station

The Ashe Plantation Lift Station project, solicited by Charlotte Water in North Carolina under solicitation number FY27-ITBCON-31, involves the design, bidding, and construction of a new duplex lift station. The system will have a capacity of 320 gallons per minute and will utilize an existing wet well from Phase I of the Ashe Plantation Wastewater Treatment Plant to connect to an 8-inch forcemain, conveying wastewater to the Goose Creek basin. As part of the scope, the existing package treatment plant will be decommissioned. Sealed bids must be submitted by 2:00 P.M. local time on November 12, 2026, to the Contracts Administration Section of Charlotte Water. The project includes a Small Business Enterprise SBE established goal of 4.00 percent. Bidders who do not meet this goal at the time of bid opening are granted 24 hours to submit a finalized CBI Utilization Form 3. Additionally, all interested companies, including general contractors and subcontractors, must submit an Information Security Agreement unless one was provided within the last five years. The award is expected to be based on a sealed bid process for the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. Performance will take place in North Carolina, with a site visit scheduled for October 29, 2026, in Mint Hill.
