Asphalt Paving and Cold Planing Services

This subcontract for Asphalt Paving and Cold Planing Services involves performing cold planing and repaving for a 5.6 km section of Highway 101 in Annapolis for the Nova Scotia Department of Public Works. The scope of work includes cold planing existing surfaces and placing Superpave Asphalt Concrete in accordance with the November 2025 End Product Specifications. The contractor is responsible for managing longitudinal joints and conducting smoothness testing per Appendix H using specialized equipment such as cold planing machines, pavers, and rollers. The final deliverable is a repaved highway that meets all specified smoothness and density requirements.
