The Work includes but is not limited to providing and placing new asphalt paving and patching, asphalt overlays and overlay fabric, application of asphalt crack seal, seal coating, performing profile grinding, hauling and disposal of grinding spoils, removal of existing paving markings and striping, preparation of surface for new stripping and markings, various stripe painting, concrete and asphalt saw cutting and coring of non-ACM/non-hazardous materials, installation of concrete wheel stops, repair and replacement of curbs, lift and level of concrete sidewalks, road water drainage upgrades, which may require permits, and other related work. This contract is for Work to be performed at various Port-wide sites within the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, Maritime Properties, and surrounding vicinities.
The contract will be awarded for an estimated amount not to exceed $1,300,000.00, which excludes Washington State Sales Tax.
The Port is anticipating a large demand for paving and stripping projects in the next year. The Port intends to award one contract from this solicitation to enable us to quickly execute the work and to ensure enough capacity. See bid documents for additional details.
