Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) is seeking proposals from bidders to support NRCan’s Office of Energy Efficiency (OEE) in conducting a comprehensive investigation into various types of energy efficiency potential within Canada’s industrial sectors. The selected contractor will undertake a detailed analysis of factors influencing energy efficiency and provide insights into potential areas for federal action.
1.2.1. This contract will serve NRCan’s Industrial Division, OEE, by delivering:
• Analysis and quantification of the technical, economic, and the realistic achievable energy efficiency potential in the industrial sector across Canada.*
• Conducting various modelling scenarios and analysis of energy efficiency performance for the Canadian industrial sector.*
• An in-depth review and analysis of the results and a comprehensive report and presentation to summarize and present the findings.*
The contract period extends until August 15, 2025, with all deliverables due by this date. The contractor will work primarily from their own premises, maintaining regular communication with NRCan through virtual meetings and bi-weekly progress updates.
1.2.2. This bid solicitation allows bidders to use the CPC Connect service provided by Canada Post Corporation to transmit their bid electronically. Bidders must refer to Part 2 entitled Bidder Instructions, and Part 3 entitled Bid Preparation Instructions, of the bid solicitation, for further information.
