Health Promotion and Chronic Disease Prevention in Canada: Research, Policy and Practice (the HPCDP Journal) is a bilingual open-access, peer-reviewed, scientific journal of the Health Promotion and Chronic Disease Prevention Branch of the Public Health Agency of Canada. It publishes approximately 50 articles across 10 issues annually on disease prevention, health promotion and health equity in areas of chronic diseases, injuries and life course health. The HPCDP Journal seeks to establish separate contracts for up to 7 qualified university-affiliated individuals to serve as a pool of Associate Scientific Editors (ASEs) for a period of one year, with the possibility of multi-year extensions up to four (4) years.
