The gloveboxes will be of various custom designs and manufactured to Curation standards to main sample pristinity, including use of polycarbonate glass, Viton seals, etc. Different designs will be required for a cold versus non-cold sample gloveboxes and for preliminary examination vs. general processing.
To prepare for the return of lunar samples by the Artemis campaign, XI2 will need to procure numerous (10+) custom curation gloveboxes for multiple purposes, including preliminary examination and general processing of cold and non-cold Artemis samples.
