ATB Financial is seeking proposals to identify a General Contractor partner to execute a major corporate interior fit-out spanning eight (8) floors of office space and a retail branch. Our consolidation to Suncor Energy Centre in Calgary is a commitment to the vibrancy of downtown and the strategic importance of our workplaces in supporting our long range objectives. We require a best-in-class construction partner to physically transform this Class A property to our future Calgary office. This project extends beyond a retail branch and conventional workstations / meeting rooms; we aim to engineer a workplace ecosystem that actively supports our clients, team members and the communities we serve. This eight-floor redevelopment is designed to move away from traditional office density, instead creating a high-care, high-performance ecosystem for approximately 1,400 team members as well as the clients we serve. The workplace strategy prioritizes high-value, in-person interaction over workstation quantity to acts as a magnet for top talent, a brand differentiator and serve as a physical manifestation of our commitment to "Powering Possibility.” The project will feature a retail branch, client hosting space, high-activity zones and flexible work areas all supported by sustainable and inclusive principles. Floors in the stack will be interconnected with stairs to ensure connection and flow of work throughout. Fit out of both the branch office space will be underpinned by long-term adaptability and high-performance technical integration. This approach must allow the workplace to be reconfigured over its 10-to-15-year lifespan with minimal material disposal, ensuring the infrastructure can seamlessly adapt to workforce and industry changes without large-scale demolition. The successful Proponent will be a key partner in translating this vision into a high-performance reality, demonstrating meticulous attention to architectural detail and a collaborative approach to the project’s technical complexity.
