This sole source contract, solicitation number HSCG23-14-R-MAV248, was awarded to Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation by the Department of Homeland Security for the U.S. Coast Guard. The project involves the installation of an Aircell ATG-5000 air-to-ground communications system on a C-37A Gulfstream V Long Range Command and Control Aircraft based at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. This upgrade is designed to provide high-performance, non-secure Internet Protocol data exchange and command and control capabilities for the USCG Commandant and DHS senior leaders, ensuring they maintain administrative and operational capabilities while in transit. The system is intended to complement existing satellite-based data systems to ensure 24-hour reliability and rapid response capability. The scope of work includes the installation of the hardware, associated FAA certifications, and the delivery of baseline configuration documentation. The performance location for this work is Savannah, Georgia, with a designated period of performance of 12 months. Gulfstream was selected as the sole source provider because, as the original equipment manufacturer, they possess the proprietary engineering data and Supplemental Type Certificates necessary for FAA airworthiness certification. The award was managed by Hq Contract Operations and synopsized on July 22, 2014, with the final award notice posted on September 4, 2014.

Solicitation # USCG-RB-S-III-2026
The United States Coast Guard is seeking a contractor to design, build, test, and deliver the Response Boat, Small Third Generation (RB-S III) to replace the aging 29-foot RB-S II fleet. This small business set-aside acquisition involves the procurement of up to 400 boats for the USCG and 100 modified variants for other federal agencies.
