Solicitation F3ST401213A001 involves an audio/visual installation for Building 450, Room 209 at Scott AFB, managed by the Department of Defense. The project requires the installation of two SMART boards and two corresponding projectors capable of clearly displaying wiring diagrams for training purposes. The contractor is permitted to design their own system using equivalent or superior equipment, as specific sizes like the 109 inch SMART board are not strictly required. A government furnished wooden instructor station with existing computers will be used, and a custom plate must be created to connect all wiring to a wall that will be constructed to bring room dimensions to approximately 26 by 26 feet. Critical technical constraints include a strict prohibition on Bluetooth or any radio frequency devices within the building. Wiring must not be placed over ballasts to avoid interference and comply with base code. The installation must include a control touch panel that allows for future lighting system upgrades. Facility staff will handle the installation of necessary power plugs upon notification. All inquiries regarding this installation are directed to Contract Specialist Laura Pecora.
