Solicitation # 27-270591/NB
Hampton City Schools is soliciting bids for a one-year contract to provide athletics, physical education supplies, team uniforms, equipment, athletic instructional aids, and sports medicine equipment on an as-needed basis. The contract is designed as an annual needs discount applicable to all catalog items offered by the bidder, with an estimated annual spend of 100,000 dollars, though this amount is not guaranteed. The agreement may be extended for up to four additional one-year periods upon mutual agreement. Bids must be submitted as a firm catalog percentage discount from a published commercial or manufacturer price list, and the award will be granted to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. The solicitation requires bidders to provide a summary list of items or a website link and submit descriptive literature to evaluate technical acceptability. Key administrative requirements include compliance with the Davis-Bacon Act, drug-free workplace standards, and specific certifications regarding anti-collusion and lobbying. While the original solicitation mentioned a performance bond, Addendum No. 1 removed this requirement and clarified that delivery and setup fees must be included in the fixed percentage discount. Bids are due by October 29, 2026, via DemandStar or hard copy. Payment terms are Net 30 calendar days or greater after receipt of a correct invoice.
