This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W81XWH-16-T-0359. The solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). Provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-78 are incorporated. It is the contractor's responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. Chamber, Jacket and Door shall be constructed of stainless steel. Door shall be hinged and powered by electric motor for ease of use. Door operation shall provide inherent safety by means of horizontally sliding plate and locking pins, allowing for mechanically fail- safe operation, independent of controls. Door shall be mechanically fail-secure with, as little as, 1 lb of chamber pressure, ensuring users cannot be injured due to control failure. Jacket shall be constructed of an inner shell reinforced by "U" channels forming the outer jacket. Controls shall include a touch screen interface capable of multiple display types. Remote-mountable controls should be available as an option, for both safety and ease of use. During timed exposure phase, chamber tempature shall be controlled by the chamber sensor as a safety measure. Cycles shall be modifiable by an authorized service representative. Cycles shall include Prevac, Liquid and Gravity. The load car shall have three or more adjustable wires shelves for ease of use. Discharge shall be quenched to less than 140F (60C) to drain, in compliance with plumbing code. Utility conservation options shall be environmentally sensitive with regards to water consumption and should include an option to build a chilled water loop. All equipment and accessories shall be new from the manufacturer. Used or refurbished equipment, or equipment obtained from a third party shall not be accepted. Vendor shall be an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) authorized dealer, authorized distributor or authorized reseller for the proposed equipment/system such that OEM warranty and service are provided and maintained by the OEM. All software licensing, warranty and service associated with the equipment/system shall be in accordance with the OEM terms and condition. Upon delivery, the vendor shall be responsible for uncrating the unit/system and transporting it through the facility to the location of intended use for installation. Vendor shall be responsible for the disassembly and removal of old equipment, as well as, assembly, installation and startup of new equipment.
