Please monitor this website for the complete solicitation, then submit a offer if you meet the requirements. BACKGROUND: In 2012, to increase examiner production hours, OCC determined that it needed to reduce the effort by examiners to assess and score the written communications skills test (WCST) and ensure that any candidate that does not pass the written test, or any of the up-front assessment tools, do not move further in the assessment process. To do so, it was determined that using "computer technology" to automate the scoring the WCST would ensure unbiased consistent results and not require the use of examiners for assessments - in effect obtaining better results using fewer key resources. The WCST will be administered separately by OCC's testing administrator at their sites and is preceded by OCC's knowledge test. Two campaigns may be run each year and OCC estimates that upward of 2,000 assessments may be required for each campaign. SCOPE OF WORK: The OCC is seeking an experience and qualified vendor (s) to automate the assessment scoring of the existing WCST and implement and test the automated assessment scoring technology. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: The OCC plans to issue a solicitation and subsequent award with a base year and four one-year option periods.
