AAC/PKOB, Eglin AFB, FL, awarded a sole source firm-fixed price contract for one lot (1) of Avionics Interface Units to the 46th Test Wing (TW) under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii). This requirement is for: CLIN 0001: Hardware. Data Signal Convertor Set. Set includes Avionics Interface Unit #1 (AIU1) P/N: A05A0247-6 and Avionics Interface Unit #2 (AIU2) P/N: A05A0248-6. Includes Industry Standard 12 Month Warranty from Date of Delivery The delivery date is 30 June 2014. This award incorporated provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-61, 13 Sept 2012. All terms and conditions within the clauses were consistent with commercial item practices. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this acquisition is 531120 with a small business size standard of $7.0M. Interested parties may not identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals/quotes. In accordance with FAR 5.2, Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions, all contract awards must be synopsized through the GPE for actions exceeding $25,000. A proposed contract action synopsis/solicitation was not required for the subject order/contract prior to award due to a determination by the government not to compete this contract, which was based on the procedures of 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii) - Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.
