AI Contract Overview
The United States Air Force has released a Request for Information (RFI) seeking industry input for a potential B-2 Performance Based Logistics (PBL) contract focused on Constrained End Item Repair, to be carried out as a Public-Private Partnership (PPP). This initiative, administered by FA8109 AFSC PZAAC at Tinker Air Force Base, aims to identify organizations with the necessary expertise, capabilities, and experience to support the Air Force Sustainment Center’s logistics needs for the B-2 program. The RFI is a market research tool, not a solicitation for proposals, and there is no associated funding or commitment to award a contract at this stage. The government emphasizes that contractors will not be reimbursed for their responses, which are voluntary and intended to help inform the acquisition strategy and gauge industry interest and capabilities. Responses must be submitted in writing via email to the designated point of contact by 4:00 pm Central Time on November 13, 2025. Participation in this RFI is not a prerequisite for future solicitations, ensuring that non-responding parties will not be excluded from subsequent opportunities. The government is utilizing this preliminary dialogue to lay the groundwork for a cost-effective and scalable enterprise solution that ensures superior support to customers. The information gathered may influence the structure of any future procurement for B-2 logistics and repair services, with additional updates or RFIs to be posted on the federal procurement site sam.gov.
